We’re Meng and Colin — the heart and soul behind Take Two Studio. We’re a husband-and-wife team, capturing love, life, and everything in between through photography and videography. Our studio name comes from one of our favorite games, “It Takes Two” — a perfect reflection of how we work and play together.

I started my photography journey in 2022 — a hobby that quickly turned into a full-time passion. Not long after, Colin joined me with his talent for videography, and together we found the perfect balance — both in work and in life. I’m the extrovert, always excited to meet new people and hear their stories; Colin’s the introvert, happy to stay behind the camera, quietly observing and always listening. It’s this combination that helps us capture moments both big and small, loud and quiet, joyful and tender.

We come from different backgrounds — I was born and raised in China, and Colin grew up in the UK — but we share a love for food, travel, and plants (though I’m the plant killer, and Colin’s the patient, green-thumbed one). And of course, we can’t forget our beloved chow chow, Arya, our favourite fluff ball in the world!

When we work with you, we don’t just show up with cameras — we show up with open hearts, ready to tell your story in the most authentic and beautiful way. Whether it’s a wedding, a family session, or a special event, we want to capture the real moments — the laughter, the tears, the quiet glances, and the loud celebrations.
